Anna (Sato) is from Amami island, where traditional music is still very much alive in the hands of several young singers and musicians. She sings with that distinctive Amami style, to a modern electronic accompaniment of keyboards. The title track features and was arranged by Greg Matheson, who has played keyboards with Dionne Warwick, Larry Carlton among many others.
