Born in 1974, Tetsuya Nozawa is one of the current leading players of the shamisen. He has won numerous awards and has performed in Germany, Austria, and the USA. He has played with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, broadcast by NHK and released as a CD. On this album he is joined by 17 stringed koto (Sahoko Nozawa) shakuhachi and other instruments and musicians.
