Makico Miyara is a singer/songwriter from Ishigaki island in the deep south of Okinawa. She sings folk/pop influenced songs with Okinawan roots. She also covers a couple of tunes by fellow Ishigaki island artists Yasukatsu Oshima and Begin, while Yukito Ara and Sunday lend support on the recording.
