With English subtitles and liner notes. NTSC, Region Code 2. 156 minutes. Two volumes on one DVD. Vol. 4 consists of Tenpaizan [performed in 2002], Kitasaga [performed in 1972], Terairi and Terakoya. [performed in 1989]. Vol. 5 is Oouchi Tenpen. Performers include National Treasures Kanji Tsuruzawa, Tamao Yoshida and Minosuke Yoshida.
The most famous act is probably Terakoya- The Village School. A tale of tragedy, it closes with a passionate kudoki, for a boy's mother's grief at the passing of her child.
