Product Description

Reissue of a live album that came out in 1984, that was recorded at Tsuchitori's hometown of Sanuki. The song Ishiura, was featured on the album, Kankyo Ongaku, Japanese Ambient album, that was released to acclaim a few years ago. Tsuchitori plays the ancient instrument Sanukaito, and Ghatam, a South Indian jar drum. Toshi Tsuchitori has performed with free jazz musicians including Steve Lacy, Derek Bailey and is known for playing ancient and pre-historic music.
