Soju Nosaka is one of the leading koto players in Japan who led the Matsunomi-kai koto school and is credited as devising the 25 stringed koto in 1991, and oversaw the development of the 20 (and 21) stringed koto, while known as Keiko Nosaka. On this album she plays the 25 stringed koto together with Mizuyo Komiya on 25 stringed bass koto. Four compositions by top composers from the Japanese contemporary music scene.
