Fantastic album by a group formed by minyo singer Meguru, who is the daughter of minyo pioneer Takio Ito. Mostly minyo (local folk) songs but with a unique energy and sound. The band members include Akira Horikoshi, who was the drummer in the free jazz group Yosuke Yamashita Trio, Saburo Tanooka, accordion player who moved to Paris, and Hideki Tachibana, a sax player who plays with Shibusashirazu.
