Released June 2026. First time vinyl release of Ryo Fukui live recording from June 26, 2004, he ninth anniversary concert of Slowboat, the jazz club Fukui founded and considered his musical home. The trio features Ryo Fukui on piano, Benisuke Sakai on bass, and Yoshihito Eto on drums. Fukui was 56 years old at the time, and his playing was as powerful and expansive as ever. Compositions from Phineas Newborn Jr., Tommy Flanagan and Wayne Shorter. This release features premium uncolored virgin vinyl, completely free of carbon or any other pigments that could affect sound quality. Using only high-purity straight PVC and increasing the record weight to 180 grams ensures superior rotational stability and a richly expansive sound.
