In April 1977, a concert was held at the Tokyo International Trade Fairgrounds in Harumi, Tokyo, under the theme of 'The Seas Must Live' and the banner Rolling Coconut Review Japan. Featuring about 80 musicians from Japan, USA and elsewhere, about 15,000 people came to the concerts over three days. On the final day, April 10th, Makoto Kubota & The Sunset Gang performed with guests including Haruomi Hosono on guitar and vocals on two tracks including Pom Pom Joki, Taeko Onuki, Sandii, Richard Bell (The Band, Janis Joplin) on piano and organ, John Sebastian (Lovin' Spoonful) Eric Andersen and Terry Reid.
