Typically unique double CD from the superb Off Note label. Recorded in Okinawa, CD 1 titled 'radio emigre' features somewhat strained singing accompanied by guitar, oud, saxophone, contrabass and drums in slow, plaintive, dramatic compositions, and a few up-tempo, shuffling tunes. CD 2 is slightly more stripped down but in similar vain with some wild improvised tunes on saxophone.
