Superb album by Taiwanese pipa player Chung Yufeng. All original compostions, recorded with musicians from Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia and Sweden. The album was recorded over a number of years in different locations. First to Indonesia to record with Sambasunda, to Germany to record with pianist and composer Matthias Frey, violiniist Zoltan Lantos from Hungary and Indian percussionist Ramesh Shotham. Later, with Swedish folk musicians Daniel Fredriksson and Daniel Pettersson. Traditional, modern, improvised and arranged. An epic album.
