This album was born from a project called 'Coffee House Mona Records' a series of events organized by Yasuhiro Konishi (Pizzicato Five, Towa Tei, Cornelius etc.) at Mona Records in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, The album features guest artists, including Konishi, covering the songs of Haruomi Hosono. The impetus for the record came from Haruomi Hosono playing as a secret guest at Mona Records 21st anniversary event in March 2025.Ten groups and artists participated on this album, including Yasuhiro Konishi, Wataru Sawabe (Skirt), Masahiro Naoegusa, Kohei Kaneda (THE LOVE NINGEN), Naoki Ito, Tetsuro Yabune, INO hidefumi, John and Paul, and YOSSY LITTLE NOISE WEAVER. Each of them reconstructed Hosono's works with their own identity and sensitivity. Hosono himself performs 'Hong Kong Blues' and 'Koi wa Momoiro'. In addition, is a demo version of Ai no Yume, previously unreleased anywhere.
