Group formed in 1995 by the late Djaduk Ferianto in Yogyarta, who died in 2019. Their music is a groundbreaking approach to gamelan and traditional music, combining elements of traditions from Java, Bali, Sumatra, Kalimantan with jazz, rock and other styles. Suling, kendang, and various gamelan instruments are augmented by bass, drums, keyboards and guitar in music ranging from a kind of prog rock gamelan to jazz funk and ambient. This album was originally released in 2010.
