Hidehide are the two Hideki's, Ishigaki on shakuhachi (bamboo flute) and Onoe on shamisen. They have all the right credentials. Ishigaki studied under the great shakuhachi master Hozan Yamamoto while Onoe comes from a long line of shamisen players. Pop, rock and jazzy sounds played on Japanese instruments on a mixture of original tunes and covers including a version of YMO's Rydeen and the classic minyo Soran Bushi. Comes with DVD containing one tune.
