If you thought the Moulin Rouge was only in Paris, think again. The Moulin Rouge Shinjuku-za opened in 1931 and quickly established itself as the place to be seen, especially popular for staging witty musicals. Originally released as an LP in 1974, this CD features recordings of the hits by the big stars of the day such as Keeton Masuda, Hisaya Morishige, Ichiro Arishima, Hachiro Kasuga, Toshie Kusunoki, Bonnie Jacks and Toru Yuri.
