tsuMgito are the duo of guitarist Norio Sato and vocalist/koto player Maya Kimura. The duo have have gained a reputation by performing six concerts, and this is their first album. Leading contemporary composers from Japan and overseas have submitted tunes for them to perform on the album. Maya Kimura is a renowned koto player who has won numerous awards and performed around the world. Norio Sato is a classically trained guitarist with an interest in contemporary works by Japanese and international composers. It's certainly an unusual avant garde sound,with classical and improvised vocals, electronics, and great koto and guitar playing.
