Recorded in 1990. Sukeyasu Shiba is a master of fue, and is one of Japan's leading gagakuka, playing the court music, gagaku. He became the musical director of the renowned gagaku orchestra, Reigakusha. On this album he plays with Tokyo Gakuso, founded in 1978 by the director of the Imperial Household Agency Ceremony Department, Tadamaro Tadama. Includes both contemporary and classical pieces.
