Seiha Hogaku-kai is an association of the Ikuta school of koto. This album contains 16 classics for koto and sangen ensemble by the legendary Michio Miyagi. Miyagi (1894-1956) helped to bring koto music into the 20th century, creating a new style of music based on western ideas.
