Mibu Furukawa was a musician from the Tsugaru region of northern Japan. This record was originally released in 1978 as a self-published, independent record. It gained in popularity following a CD releases and now gets a vinyl release. Experimental Japanese folk music, with intensely raw and fringe elements. Lyrical themes connect this world and the next, with the artist adopting the persona of his deceased younger brother, also named Mibu.
