Third of three albums in the 'Kanasu' series. Makoto Kubota has selected and remastered tracks from the a 16 LP box set of recordings made in Okinawa, Miyako island Yaeyama, released in 1965 and limited to 100 pressings, later released as 2 sets of 8 CDs. These recordings are considered a magnificent body of work, with many rare recordings from across the Ryukyu archipelego, consisting of over 1000 songs, recorded by three engineers carrying over 100kg of recording equipment. Makoto Kubota has unearthed these recordings, and compiled them onto three CDs, including some previously unreleased. This third CD features recordings from the Yaeyama islands, plus remix by Makoto Kubota.
