Back in April and May 1979, the highly rated jazz fusion guitarist recorded with Ryuichi Sakamoto (keyboards) and also producer of this album, fellow YMO member Yukihiro Takahashi on drums, Akiko Yano on keyboards and vocals, plus Yasuaki Shimizu (saxophone) and other highly rated musicians such as Shuichi 'Ponta' Murakami (drums) and Toshiyuki Honda (saxophones). Some tracks are straight jazz fusion, others an unlikely but interesting mix of fusion with YMO style electronic backing.
