Fifth album from female singer, known for singing nagauta, the popular music of the Edo period. Was originally a backing singer for some of Japan's biggest stars such as EPO, Yumi Matsutoya, Miki Imai, Misia and Takuro Yoshida. She started learning nagauta in 1995, which she combined with other styles of music to create a new traditional style of Japanese music. Her voice is accompanied by percussion, shakuhachi, koto, guitar and more.
