Kevin Kmetz is an American tsugaru shamisen player and leader of the group God of Shamisen. He's won various shamisen competitions in Japan, and on this album he combines tsugaru shamisen with heavy metal, surf, rock and funk. Kevin's shamisen is accompanied by drums, guitar and bass. It's all delivered with a large degree of humour as well as great musicianship.
