The concept is simple- Japanese traditional instruments play western music. Produced by Akihisa Kominato, shakuhachi player who features on many of the NHK series videos. These are many of the same musicians playing some of the same tracks. Musicians include aside to Akihisa Kominato, Kaho Aso playing Kotsuzumi, Yutaka Koyama (Tsugaru shamisen) plus bass, accordion, clarinet etc..
