Chitose Hajime is a well known singier from Amami island and she sings an Amami island folk song. Saya Asakura is a singer from Yamagata prefecture. Their trademark infectious blend of minyo (local folk songs) with Latin, African, and Caribbean rhythms and more. This is the Japanese version of the vinyl record.
