Nobuyuki Nakajima is a pianist, composer, arranger and orchestrator. He has played with some of Japan's coolest artists including Port of Notes, Kama Aina, Calm and Naruyoshi Kikuchi. Solo, his music has some similarities to French impressionist composers such as Erik Satie or Debussy. This is his first solo album, which includes his original music and arrangements of compositions by Spanish composer Frederico Mompou, and bossa nova master Vinicius de Moraes. An impressive list of collaborating musicians include Kazumi Watanabe, Naruyoshi Kiukuchi, Moose Hill, Ren Takada, Takayoshi Matsunaga and Kama Aina. Piano is blended with guitar, bandoneon, sax, bass, into a kind of modern chamber music.
