Another CD in the Japanese series marking 70 years since the end of the second world war. CD1 features a variety of war themed songs from before the war, performed by the star comedians of the day. These include Roppa Furukawa aka 'Roppa', Miss Wakana and Akira Kishii. CD2 features some recently discovered songs performed by Kenichi Enomoto, or 'Enoken' as he was known, probably the biggest star of this period, and other comedians, of mostly propaganda songs. Many of these comedians later said they were left with no choice but to support the government of day to avoid consequences for them and their families.
