Choro is Brazilian instrumental music played on cavaquinho (small guitar), plus on this album, viola, violin, flute, clarinet, sax, percussion and contrabass. Led by the excellent Henriques Cazes, this fine groups plays songs suited to the choro style from Japan, Cuba, Venezuela, Hawaii and even China in addition to Brazil. Wonderful album recorded in Rio, produced by Katsunori Tanaka.
