Hiroshi Suzuki was a trombone player, well known in the Japanese jazz scene from the 1960s. In 1971 he moved to the US, and four years later briefly returned to Japan when he reunited with former bandmates Akira Ishikawa, Takeru Muraoka, Hiromasa Suzuki, and Kunimitsu Inaba to record this superb album.
