Taikuh Jikan reinterpret Indonesian gamelan mixed with steelpan and other music from around the world. Led by the extraordinary shadow puppeteer/musician Kawamura Koheisai, their music is based on the concept of 'folk songs from an imaginary island', combining resonating gamelan and steel pan with modern shadow puppetry. Cutting engineer Shigeru Takezawa (Nippon Columbia) and sound engineer Naoyuki Uchida.
