Mohamad Nasir Mohamad, more commonly known as M. Nasir, was born in Singapore in 1957. He made his first record in 1979 and ever since has been one of Malaysia's most loved singers and songwriters. He's always been creating and experimenting with Malaysian roots music and this album combines the Malaysian joget rhythms with other local dance styles and Indonesian kroncong.
