Kim Hye Yeon is a female ponchak 'idol' singer. It's not as wacky as E Pak Sa, more of a pop disco and ponchak mixture. Kim's vocals are accompanied by synthesizer, guitar and bass. 17 tracks of all her best known ponchak hits.

Wacky album of instrumental 'cabaret trot'. A synthesizer doodles in and out behind a steady drum machine beat with a kind of waltz rhythm. 22 tracks according to the jacket although plays as two long tracks of about 30 minutes each.

Originally released on cassette, now reissued onto CD,a classic early record from the star of ponchak. E Pak Sa bases his music on Korean style folk tunes which he mixes with Casio synthesizer beats. He grew up singing pansori which had some influence on his wacky style. In the mid 1990s he released a few records and recorded in Japan, although these days he's pretty much unknown again. Just 2 tracks each 25 minutes long.

Another masterpiece this one from 1990. E Pak Sa sings Korean style folk tunes set to synthezied beats, a loose updated version of pansori. He learnt his trade as a tour bus guide where he would entertain the passengers.

On this album, E Pak Sa is not accompanied by his trademark Casio keyboard but by percussion and bass, creating a more rootsy sound. Brilliant, creative, modern style Korean folk.
