His most famous song was Bengawan Solo, that became popular not only throughout Indonesia, but in Japan and even worldwide. This album includes a duet by Gesang and Waldjinah, Sundanese group Sambasunda, plus a Bossa Nova version and an African style version. Great tribute to an Asian music legend.

Tuti Maryati is a young kroncong singer, who on this album sings the masterpieces of Ismail Marzuki (1914-1958), who wrote many popular and patriotic songs in the 1940s and 50s. Classic, authentic versions by a young singer backed by a young group of kroncong musicians.
Keroncong Asli 2
Compilation of traditional style kroncong featuring singers including Toto Salmon, Waldjinah and Sundari Soekotjo.
Excellent album of pop kroncong from probably the current queen of the genre. Sundari was born in 1965 in Jakarta and was originally a singer of traditional kroncong. After Hetty Koes Endang created 'pop kroncong', Sundari too adopted this style. Drums and synthesizers are added to the mixture for a contemporary twist on one of Indonesia's most loved genres of music.
Toto Salmon is a popular veteran kroncong singer and this album contains his greatest performances. He has a soft and mellow voice that matches the kroncong style of music perfectly. A lot of the songs date back to around the time of Indonesia's independence in 1949. A wonderful kroncong album.
Yakkusoku Yaburi - Original Kroncong Collection (Keroncong Asli)

Kroncong- Early Indonesian Pop Music Vol. 1
Brilliant 24 track CD that traces the history of Indonesian kroncong music. Kroncong is a mixture of European, Asian and possibly Arabic and African music. It is believed to originate in the communities of freed Portuguese slaves in the 16th century although the modern, classical style dates back to the 1920s or 30s. Vocals are the most important element accompanied by small guitars, a standard guitar, cello, contrabass, flute and violin. This 24 track CD compiles many rare, early recordings from Netty, Krontjong Orchest Eurasia, Miss Riboot, Miss Lee, Kartini, Ratna, and later recordings by Waldjinah and Gesang. Digi pack, rare photos, original labels of the 78s although liner notes are only in Japanese.
Classical Kroncong - Rindu Malam
Waldjinah is a veteran singer of Indonesian kroncong, Portuguese influenced music played on violin, cello, guitar and small ukulele type instruments. This is an album of some of the best known kroncong songs, performed in the classical style.
Koleksi Emas Keroncong
Fourteen track compilation of kroncong classics. Five tracks by Sam Saimun- Laggum Sekendang Sutra, Langgum Sepasang Mata Bola, Juwita Malam, Melati Di Tapal Batas, Restu Yang Kunantikan, plus M Rivany - Rindu Lukisan, Rita - Kroncong Moresko, Tuti Tri Sedaya - Jangan Ditanya Kemana, and Waldjinah - Sekuntum Bunga Di Puncak.
Wonderful album that mixes kroncong with gamelan to varying degrees, with Waldjinah's superb vocals always to the fore. The title track is part of the Ramayana story, heavily percussive and with chanting vocals it perfectly blends modern and traditional styles.
