The group comprise some of the most skillful and creative players in Japan, plus singers, butoh-dancers, groovedance girls, artists and actors/JapTrad performers. When they peform, the stage itself turns into a piece of art with live painting, animation, decoration, and balloon creatures such as a 20 metre flying dragon. They have released 8 albums the most recent Shibuboshi, featuring members of the Sun Ra Arkestra. The group have so far toured Europe 3 times in 1998, 2000, and 2002, which has included the main stage of Glastonbury Festival 2002, Moers New Jazz Festival (Germany), Documenta Kassel (Germany), Nat Jazz Bergen Festival (Norway) and Druga Godba Festival (Slovenia).
