Compilations & Producing

Paul Fisher has so far compiled six titles for the Rough Guide music series; Japan, Hawaii, Indonesia, Okinawa, Thailand and China and is currently working on other titles. His latest projects have been The Very Best of the Far East (Nascente) and an album of Buddhist music (Nascente). In addition he has compiled the East Asia Travelogue for Union Square Music, 'Las Musicas de Japon' for a Spanish record company, and 'Celtic Countdown' released by JVC.

Other projects have included a compilation of Korean music for BMG Zomba for TV/film production music, and "Rhythms of Okinawa" a compilation for Sugo Music in the USA that is a promotional item for DFS.

Paul has produced, co-produced and directed the recording of many albums, including an album of palm wine guitar music recorded in London by Sierra Leone guitarist Abdul Tee-Jay, 'Palm Wine A Go-Go', and the acclaimed 'Jin Jin' and 'Nankuru Naisa' by Bob Brozman and Takashi Hirayasu.
