Subtitled - Traditional folk music from Awa. Eiji Hinaki cassette audio archives, 1968-1988 compiled by Makoto Kubota. A wonderful album of field recordings capturing the Awa Odori festival music of Shikoku. Rare recordings of songs; wild, rootsy, rich and funky music, many of which are not played today. Atmospheric, 54 tracks together with fantastic photos taken by Eiji Hinaki.
