Formed in 2014 in Kumamoto, Kyushu, Boomdigi play Japanese omatsuri (festival) music mixed with global sounds and rhythms. Traditional flutes and drums combined with reggae, hip-hop, rap, Indonesian dangdut, other Asian and 'world bass beats'. Rather intoxicating.
