Hideki Matsutake is a composer, arranger, producer, synthesizer programmer and mixer who started his music career as an assistant of Isamu Tomita to create music by using the Moog Synthesizer which was unusual at that time. He became a pioneer of Moog Synthesizer and joined Akiko Yano's album 'Tokimeki' in 1978 and then joined Ryuichi Sakamoto's first solo album. That lead him to participate in YMO's albums as a sound programmer from 1978 until 1982. Joined YMO's world tour and during which he used a bank of synthesizers and he was called 'YMO's 4th member'. Formed his own unit Logicsystem in 1981 and has released 10 albums so far. This is his new album and he is also starting new label 'Motion +-' focusing on electronic and synthesizer music. This is limited edition release featuring DJ Harvey, Dub Master X, Saito 'JxJx' Jun and 80 Kidz.

Back in 1982, the members of Logic System, primarily Hideki Matsutake,(synthesizers) plus Kenji Omura (guitar) Nobuyuki Shimizu (keyboards) and guest Kazuhiko Kato on guitar were the backing band for vocalist Taeko Onuki at her gig at a university. During the interval, the band played as Logic System, which was their only live performance at the time. This was apparently the only time Logic System performed Sunshine of Your Love. A rare recording of this seminal project.

2 in 1 set, of the studio album of Space Fantasy, plus its live version. both albums originally released in 1978. Space Fantasy was a project of Hideki Matsutake who would go on to form Logic System, and work with YMO as sequencer programmer and synthesizer operator. In 1978, this was a groundbreaking project at a time when synthesizers and electronic music was still in its infancy. The album features a team of musicians, including drummer Shuichi 'Ponta' Murakami, Jun Fukamachi (synthesizer), Hiroki Inui (synthesizer) and guitarist Kazumi Watanabe. The theme of the album is space and the universe, and tracks include theme from Close Encounters, Star Wars, plus Miyagawa compositions from the anime Space Battleship Yamato.

Susan is best known for collaborating with members of YMO and gained a cult following in Japan and around the world. Born to a Japanese mother and American father she had a pop and acting career in the 70s before meeting Yukihiro Takahashi of YMO who helped relaunch her career. As well as featuring all three members of YMO, her album 'Do You Believe in Mazik?' had contributions from other luminaries such as Makoto Kubota and Kenji Omura. She was launched in Europe alongside YMO, Sandii & The Sunsetz and Ippu-Do in a campaign called 'Music from the Land of the Rising Sun.'
